Kim Brown ’06, alumni program coordinator in Career Services, will be visiting the Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon, alumni clubs in June with tips on successful networking and career building. Even if you’re not job searching, this is a great opportunity to learn how to find a mentor or be one yourself through Mentor@SU, how Twitter tweets can turn into terrific opportunities, and how to create a strong LinkedIn profile you can use to build your network. Kim has dozens of success stories to share about these tools and how they’ve helped students and alumni make incredible connections and land coveted jobs.
Kim will be in Seattle on Monday, June 20, at the Bellevue Square Mall, 116 Bellevue Square, (R.S.V.P. to Aimee Martin at firstname.lastname@example.org) and in the Portland area on Tuesday, June 21, at the Rogue Ale House, NW Flanders and 14th Avenue (R.S.V.P. to Ken Kane at email@example.com).
