Henrik Dullea, Cornell vice president for university relations emeritus, has been appointed to a seven-year term as a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) Board of Trustees by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. His term began July 1.
Dullea is a 1961 Cornell graduate in government and received a Ph.D. from Syracuse’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs in political science in 1982. As director of state operations and policy management for former Gov. Mario Cuomo from 1983 to 1991, he directed the day-to-day activities of more than 65 New York State departments and agencies. He also served former Gov. Hugh Carey as assistant secretary to the governor for education and the arts and as a legislative budget analyst for the New York State Assembly Ways and Means Committee.
