Joseph Rallo ’78 MA/ ’80 PhD (IR) Appointed Texas Tech Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs

On May 18, the Texas Tech Board of Regents chose Joseph Rallo, president of Angelo State University, a university within the Tech system, as the vice chancellor of academics. Rallo will oversee system-level strategic plans in academics and will manage the academic profile for each institution in the Tech system.

Rallo earned a bachelor’s degree in Russian history from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania and has a law degree from Western New England College and a master’s and doctorate in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
