Laurie Black ’95 MPA named Maffei District Director

New_York_District_24_109th_US_CongressU.S. Rep. Dan Maffei recently announced  several key staffers for his new Congressional office.

With more than 16 years in public and community service, Laurie Black will serve as Maffei’s district director.  Since 2002, Laurie has worked at the not-for-profit business and community coalition Syracuse 20/20. Her career in community service includes work at the Syracuse Boys and Girls Club, the United Way of Central New York and board member of Huntington Family Centers. Additionally, Black has also served as an aide to Assembly Majority Leader Michael Bragman in the New York State Assembly and budget analyst for the Maryland General Assembly. Black received a masters in public administration from the Maxwell School in 1995.
