About the Event
In the first of a series leading up to NEF’s 2015 Centennial, our distinguished guests will discuss the transforming Middle East in an age of problems without borders, in which no single country or alliance can meet the challenges of global leadership. What are the impacts on social and economic development as conflicts escalate and the West becomes increasingly reluctant to engage? And what are the implications for the global economy, relations between the world’s most powerful governments, and our ability to cope with the complex challenges ahead?
NEF: Building Prosperous, Sustainable Communities Since 1915
The Near East Foundation works with vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the Middle East and Africa to help them overcome poverty, improve their livelihoods, and participate in the development of their own communities and countries
