Kiran Gaudioso is the newly appointed senior vice president of Community Impact and Community Relations with the United Way of Northern New Jersey. Receiving a bachelor’s degree in policy studies and political science from the Maxwell School in 1992, Gaudioso enters her new role with a wealth of nonprofit sector experience. She started her career as a policy advisor in the New Jersey Governor’s Office, playing a pivotal role in the Garden State’s establishment of Americorps, the domestic national service program. Thereafter, Gaudioso’s work focuses upon the implementation of after-school education and expanded learning opportunities for New Jersey’s public school students. Rather fittingly, her new position with the United Way entails strategic planning for advancing the organization’s goals in health, financial stability, and education.
