Shawn Miller ’96 MAIR Explores Complexities of Transnational Business and Human Rights

Amidst local laws twist governmental and industrial standards, international human rights frameworks key among them. Shawn Miller, a ’96 Maxwell Alum and current managing director for environmental and social risk management with Citi, recently participated in a roundtable discussion with experts on how transnational corporations may actively work to improve and simplify human rights and national sovereignty rather than merely managing the issues that inevitably arise within such a chaotic context.
