Maxwell Community Celebrates New Home in Washington, D.C.

On April 2nd, Maxwell alumni, faculty, and friends joined together to celebrate the opening of the School’s new D.C. location at the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. In addition to tours of the facility, Maxwell hosted a conversation on post-conflict reconstruction, featuring Deborah Alexander ’82 MSSc/’95 PhD (SSc), former senior policy advisor at the U.S. Department of State and a veteran of several conflict and stabilization missions.  Panelists also included Professor Renée de Nevers and Anthony H. Cordesman,  the Arleigh A. Burke Chair in Strategy at CSIS.  A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the School’s Spirit of Public Service Award to Deborah Alexander.
