Michael Frame has recently been serving as director of federal relations at Florida State University (FSU). Frame is responsible for representing the federal research and legislative priorities of the FSU before the federal government, including federal agencies and Congress, as well as to the university community. He serves as the FSU representative to the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities’ Council on Governmental Affairs. In addition to, developing university positions on all relevant legislation for presentation and discussion with the Florida delegation. Lastly, he interacts with federal research and development agencies to determine funding opportunities, collaborates with faculty and researchers to develop federal support for such initiatives, and maintains relationships with those agencies and officials.
Frame graduated from the Maxwell School in 2002 with a master’s degree in public administration.
