Robert Perciasepe is the president of the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, a leading independent voice for practical policy and action that addresses the challenges of energy and climate change.
Prior to his position at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, Perciasepe served as deputy administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. There he was able to set stricter auto emissions and mileage standards, increase protections for the nation’s streams and rivers, and develop carbon emission standards for power plants.
Perciasepe has been an environmental policy leader for more than 30 years. He has held top positions within the government, including secretary of the environment for the state of Maryland and senior planning official for the city of Baltimore.
