Kimberlin Butler was included on Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “40 Under 40” award list. The award recognizes the Atlanta metro area’s most influential and innovative people under 40 in real estate, health care, hospitality, technology, education, and law. In her role as interim director of programs and partnerships at Beyond 12, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the number of first generation, underrepresented, and low-income students who graduate from colleges and universities, Butler helped launch the company’s Atlanta office and is in charge of leading the overarching program strategy and team. She has taken a new leadership role serving as Director of Strategic Partnerships for StriveTogether, an organization that brings proven expertise, effective resources and a nationally-recognized collective impact approach enabling communities to create local education ecosystems to support children and youth from cradle to career. Her leadership reporting to the CEO will engage investors and stakeholders in a national network of 68 community partnerships in 32 states and Washington D.C. working to improve education success for every child by bringing together cross-sector partners around a common vision. The StriveTogether Network impacts over 8.2 million students nationwide.
